Digital Agency Highlights of 2023.

19 Dec 2023

Before we mark a new year, let’s rewind on the highlights of 2023.

Sometimes, all it takes is one year to come to a close, and a new one to open for us to pause and reflect on the year that has been.

Without further ado, here are some of the highlights from our team to yours.

We celebrated 10 years of Resolution Digital

“10 years ago, we sold our digital agency to Omnicom Media Group, and Resolution Digital was formed. Thanks to our clients, remarkable team, industry partners and Omnicom agencies who joined us on this amazing journey.

We are proud to have built one of Australia's largest and most awarded digital marketing agencies.” Des Odell, CEO of Resolution Digital.

Awards, Industry Accolades & Contributions

Here are some of the award wins, new partnerships, and events we attended with clients.

  • We won B&T’s Best Digital Services 2023 for the second consecutive year, and were shortlisted for Best Digital Campaign, Best Integrated Ad Campaign, and Performance Agency of The Year.

  • We brought home The Australian Business Awards Employer of Choice Award for the 9th consecutive year.

  • We took home the Microsoft Ads Agency of the Year Award for the APAC region for the second year.

  • Our Digital Innovation team attended the Customer Experience Summits in Sydney, and Melbourne, alongside our fabulous client, Torrens University.

  • We co-hosted a Tech Talk at Online Retailer in Sydney alongside Contiki.

  • We are now a certified Storyblok partner, which provides our clients with the flexibility to integrate with any technology, and publish across any channel.

  • Capitalising on the surge in eCommerce, we crafted The Marketer’s Guide to eCommerce, discussing the eCommerce boom and what it means for marketers, eCommerce marketing strategies to consider, and how to double sales in 9 months.

  • We released the State of MarTech report, to see how prepared Australian businesses are for the privacy-first, cookieless future of advertising.

  • Whilst marketers said farewell to Google Optimize this year, we created the CRO Experimentation Matrix that allows marketers to easily compare vendors across the complex landscape.

  • With the data landscape changing and market competition higher than ever, a lack of visibility, inertia and high workloads can lead to poor customer experience going under the radar.

  • Browser trackability has dropped by 6%. Firstly, what is user trackability? And secondly, why is it important for marketers to understand? We've answered these questions and a whole lot more in the User Trackability Report, here.

Our very own Head of Resolution Digital - Melbourne, James Hanley won the B&T 30u30 Tech award, whilst Digital Experience Director Allison Bermingham and Senior Activation Manager Lucy Dowling were shortlisted too.

Over at The B&T Women Leading Tech Awards, we had six fabulous Resos up for an award; Kate Long, Melanie Burlett, Sun Kim, Sam Smith, and Kate Gamble, with Jazz Lawler winning the highly commended award for delivery. The B&T Women in Media awards featured successful entries from Georgia Rutledge, Maddie Corrigan, Karina Pike, Meaghan Lowth, and Monique Gilbert, with Karina and Monique being shortlisted.
