Digital Strategy and Scope

Research and Discovery

Next, we work with you to outline the requirements for your UX project and the problems that need to be solved. The purpose of discovery is to get a deep understanding of the challenges users are facing.
Our aim in every discovery phase is to better understand the user, align with stakeholders, and review and analyse web and data analytics. We achieve this through research, workshops, testing, prototyping, and conceptualising.


We will conduct workshops to ensure that we have a deep understanding of your organisation’s goals and objectives, as well as those of your target audience and stakeholders. These may include workshops on user personas, user stories, and technical requirements. A discovery workshop, for example, is key to providing stakeholder alignment.
Workshops are a perfect format to facilitate collaboration and fast-track decision making.

Interviews and User Testing

A user interview is a UX research method we employ in order to gather qualitative information from either existing or potential users. We always recommend one-on-one interviews, which help us gain deep insights into user preferences, behaviours, motivations, and attitudes. The data we collect then informs personas, journey maps, workflows, and feature ideas.

User testing is a usability technique that helps you gain valuable insights from your users regarding why and how they use your products. The goal is to identify any usability problems, collect qualitative and quantitative data, and determine the participant’s satisfaction with the product. 

Personas, Journeys, and Flow

User personas are representations of target users or customer types and provide a reference for typical personality traits, goals, frustrations, motivations, behaviours, and expectations of a segment of users. In this step, we take reliable research data and use it to define real target audience personas. This means that we can then create digital experiences tailored to their needs and wants.
User journeys are a method for conceptualising and structuring a website’s content and functionality. Creating a user journey places a strong emphasis on personas and also merges the creation of scenarios and user flows. User flows, on the other hand, explore the relationship of pages and sections within a platform and describe the actual paths users might take – how they accomplish their goals within the product.


In this step we get to the exciting task of prototyping. We'll create a working sample of the user experience design in order to test and validate it. This can be done either at wireframe stage or at visual design stage to simulate interactions and user journeys through the application on desktop or mobile devices.
We also offer observed user testing so we can collect valuable feedback for user experience. This is the stage where we see all of our research and hard work come together.

IA and Wireframing

Armed with the information discovered in the research phase, we move on to providing a structural framework. The thought and design put into the information architecture (IA) provides the foundation for a positive user experience.
Created alongside the IA, wireframes are equally important to the user experience design. It's our way to visualise and design a website service at the structural and functional level. Once we've developed both IA and wireframes, we can move on to our final step.


Once wireframes are validated and the layout and flow of the interface is approved, we deliver our visual design for your review through a design feedback tool. This allows you to test the experience in your browser and comment
directly on the designs.

After we have finalised the visual concept, the next step is to create final visual interface designs for both mobile and desktop devices, as well as design specifications for the next phase of the project. Resolution can also create and build pattern libraries and online style guides that can be utilised in future projects.
